We are excited about offering this new service of a virtual health clinic as part of The ABBM Foundation’s ongoing efforts to assist the less fortunate free of charge. A virtual clinic is a planned contact by our HealthCare Professional Responsible for Care with a patient for the purposes of clinical consultation, advice and perhaps treatment  planning.
Do you often wonder how a healthcare organization can deliver higher patient
satisfaction, reduce readmission rates, improve health outcomes, and lower overall healthcare spending and do all that “Remotely”!? Telehealth, or virtual visits is helping make access to health care more convenient. People can see and talk to a doctor through their smartphone, tablet or computer, meaning they don't have to go to a doctor's office or sit in a waiting room. Instead, they can visit with one of our doctors from the comfort of their own home. Virtual healthcare has been around as the next disrupter in care delivery for more than a decade now, however there has been minimal uptick in its adoption until this pandemic.
